Okay, battle stations!

I've been damn miserable with this pack for a while now. I feel like nobody really enjoys it. So, my question for you lot is, do you enjoy being part of this pack? Yes or no? If no, why? If yes, Why? I want to know what you like and what could be done to make it better? (I want honest opinion. Please do not just do the poll, please give your opinions)

I adore DDP. The idea for the pack is original, and the plots are interesting and always keep me on my toes. That there's the whole figuring out the prophecies and just the entire magical side of the pack is what keeps me coming back to log on to the site day in and day out.

I don't really know how to spring the pack to life. We've got the fun banter that we have in the love life thread, but I think that's where most of the real bonding and stuff happens. I mean, we're all goofballs. I know some of you pretty well, but the others I hardly know at all. I'm working on becoming more active on the RP side, but if I'm going to be honest, I'm kind of bored with Circe (eheh that happens with me a lot). I sometimes want to spruce her up a bit so that she's more lively and stuff, but at other times, she's a character that I'm familiar with, so it's easy for me to slip into my asocial Circe shoes and carry on.

So, tangent aside, I think that DDP is a wonderful and inspiring pack. All packs have their low points, and we just have to fight through them. The members who stick through it will often be the ones who will make the lively side of things burst into bloom again. Contests are always fun, and pack get togethers help with at least getting members on the site.

So, maybe getting us together and having us bounce ideas back and forth could help immensely? DDP is one pack that I really really don't want to see die, so I want to do whatever I can to help make it the best that it can possibly be.

Honestly, DDP is perhaps my favorite RP that I've ever participated in general, and I've been in A LOT. It's definitely high-ranking on "don't want to die" things, and personally, I would be heartbroken if it did. The originality is something that caught my eye. It's not one of those "apocalyptic wolf packs", or "humans turn into wolves", or just any other ones. It has a magical side to it, but it's really different. Nobody else really incorporated ancient mythical legends and history (somewhat) into packs. Plus, prophecies and such? Nope, just this one.

I don't know how to spring this pack to life exactly. I've suggested some ways in another post I did recently, but honestly, I don't know how to really spruce it up. I think this really is one of those down times the pack is having, and just have to grit their teeth, hold hands, and pull through it. School is just starting, so we'll be a lot less active, and during summer a lot of us went on big trips and some such, therefore not being able to come on at all.

I'm pretty sure a lot of us RP wise aren't just very active as an RPer. I myself tend to not post on the RP for long periods of time, but that's just me. I've always been like that, and it's not because of me not liking this site. I guess sometimes I don't post is because I'm kind of tired of playing the old snake in the RP, and I try to spruce up her character development? If that makes any sense.

Just please don't let this pack die, under any circumstances. If this pack dies, I'm totally making a sequel pack inspired by this one just to keep it going.

I agree with everything that Ailis has said. I love to RP, but my RP mood only comes along at a convenient time once in a blue moon. Like, I only ever want to RP when it's 3 in the morning or while I'm doing my homework. There's not ifs ands or butts about it. I really love to RP, but between work and college, I'm always so drained. But, not drained enough that I don't want to check the site and pop in to say hi.

Because I love talking to you guys. And, maybe if we had more OTT threads where we could just chat and everyone could be involved, compared to the chatbox where everything is fast paced and only those that are there at the time can see what's happening?
