Wickett's remedy. It has everything I could need: early 1900's America, adorable romances, wit, and the disturbing deaths of like half the characters.

A Song of Ice and Fire will always be my favourite book series. A Storm of Swords is my favourite of the series. The Roman Mysteries was my favourite series when I was younger, and I still read them from time to time. Smile

Basically anything by this author. Diana Wynne Jones is fabulous and is also known for being the author of "Howl's Moving Castle."

Would highly recommend this book, written by the same guy who wrote The Da Vinci Code.

I totally recommend 'Legend' by Marie Lu and 'Rot and Ruin' by Jonathan Maberry.

Legend is about a young boy, Day, who is the number #1 criminal in his area of the slums. However, trying to get medicine for his family he accidentally kills one of the soldiers. The soldier's sister, June, is ordered to find her brother's murderer and bring him down.
(I did not spoil it. It tells you on the back that her brother dies. It's like in the 2nd chapter)

Legend is amaznig. Oh man, I picked this book up and thought it was gonna be really bad and ended up buying another book. I then saw it in my local library and thought, well why not. I totally regret not picking up this book when I first saw it. It's so amazing!! You'll love it!! <3

'Rot and Ruin' is about two brothers learning how to live together and live in a world full of zombies. - I can't say too much without giving most of it away, but I normally don't like zombie books, but this one was amazing. So much bromance and tears. I even put this book into the naught self as I was crying so much because of how amazing and sad this book is.

I second Rot and Ruin. It's one of, if not the, best zombie story I've ever read.

I'm a major fan of the Percy Jackson series :3

Though Legend is a fantastic book. It's really well paced and it just captured my interest straight away.

Yeah! Percy Jackson is basically a modern spin off of demigods in a modern america. It's got greek myths and stuff, but it's really interesting to see them because they're in today's society and stuff :3 It's funny, Percy is a sassy one Razz

Legend is more on the dystopia side of things, but it follows two characters and flips point of view between them. It's really good :3

I've just recently finished 'Prodigy- Marie Lu' and man! it's awesome!

I have to say my favourite series are:

1. Percy Jackson series (of course including heroes of olympus. Gotta have some Leo ;P)
2. Legend series by Marie Lu :3

I love the Legend series so much :3 It's dystopian and they say if you like hunger games, you'll like this book series, but I like it a lot more :3

Anybody heard of the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore? I loved the first book, Graceling, but the beginnings of all three books are so slow that I still lack the attention span to to get into the next two.

UK Cover:

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by the fact that some book cover designs vary by country, region, or continent?
